If traveling by plane you generally must have a health certificate that is dated within ten days of your flight. Arizona state law requires that a veterinarian perform an examination on your pet before a health certificate can be issued. If traveling by car typically no certificate is required, however if you are going to Canada or Mexico, requirements may differ.
