Our Facility |
Established in 1957 and extensively remodeled in 1999, Applewood Pet Resort is completely
climate-controlled, with 8 separate zones so that our guests are always comfortable,
winter or summer. Skylights and windows throughout the facility provide natural
light that is easy on the eyes.
All rooms are elevated off the ground, with special flooring that is kind to joints
and pads. Rooms are cleaned throughout the day as the need arises, and sanitized
and disinfected twice daily while the occupants are on their outside walks.
All of our guests enjoy either color television or soothing piped-in music. Each
canine guest receives a freshly-laundered fleece bed each evening. Our feline guests
have a comfortable bed available throughout their stay.
Meals are prepared in our large gourmet kitchen and can be served up to three times
per day. Water is checked and refreshed throughout the day. Extra treats can be
arranged, either those you provide at check-in or specialty items that we prepare.
For your peace of mind, there is an attendant on site 24 hours per day and our emergency
alarms and fire sprinkler system are professionally monitored day and night.
